Stays conscious
You remain fully conscious and able to speak throughout the appointment.
Comfort & sedation
Fear and anxiety keep many people from getting dental care they need. Nitrous oxide can take the edge off so you're more comfortable during your visit.
The basics
Going to the dentist isn't easy for everyone. Fear and anxiety, a strong gag reflex, trouble sitting still, or a low pain threshold can all make routine visits feel harder than they should be.
Avoiding care because of anxiety only lets small problems become bigger ones over time. Sedation can make it easier to get the treatment you need, comfortably.
More than any sedation option, it's the way we work that cuts through anxiety: the slower pace, the honest explanations, a team that doesn't rush.
Nitrous oxide
You remain fully conscious and able to speak throughout the appointment.
Inhaled through a mask, nitrous oxide helps you relax and raises your pain threshold.
Quick recovery
Once the gas is turned off, the effects fade fast enough that you can drive yourself home.
How it works
Beyond sedation
Our operatories include massage pads, blankets, pillows, and Pandora, choose your own station. If a fidget spinner helps, we've got those too. None of this is a gimmick, it's the practical infrastructure of a calmer visit.
Please note that Crossroads Family Dental is not licensed to provide IV sedation or general anesthesia.
