You might have malocclusion from inheritance meaning it can be from generation to generation. Some habits will even change the shape and structure of the jaw. Some of the features are cleft lip and palate, thumb sucking in children., baby bottle tooth decay, mouth tumors and impacted teeth, airway obstruction, and even when you have improperly fitted braces, crowns, and fillings.
