![]() It all depends on the level of oral hygiene, plaque buildup and dental visits that the person goes through to find out how quickly a cavity will form. Sometimes Cavities Can Be FastIf the person does not have strong teeth, are using medication that makes the teeth decay much faster or uses drugs than the decay that is found on the teeth can be advanced. This is why it is important to think about visiting the dentist as much as possible if any of these three things are an issue for you. Generally, cavities in a healthy individual take much longer to form and they can usually be caught before they become too bad. This allows the dentist to quickly fill them before they become much worse and require further care. Women that are pregnant should see the dentist more often because the nutrients that would normally go to the teeth are going to the baby, making the teeth break down and get cavities much easier than without being pregnant. These women need additional care for their dental problems so make sure to speak with someone and let them know you are pregnant and would like additional care and cleaning for your teeth. Speak with our office today if you think you have a cavity that needs to be addressed. We are more than happy to get you in for an appointment and get you going with the best dental care needed. We feel that everyone should have access to dental care. Call us today and we can schedule a time for you to come in. |
